  10. I have an A3000 to which I have added a Syquest 105 drive internally in 
  11. the spot intended for the second floppy drive. When I boot, if there 
  12. is no cartridge in the Syquest, the system waits approx 30 seconds before 
  13. booting from the boot partition of the internal hard drive.

  15. The SCSI id of the Syquest was 0 and the internal hd was 6. If a 
  16. cartridge is in the Syquest, the system boots normally from the hd.

  18. I recently changed the hd for a new unit, and at the same time set the 
  19. new hd id to 0 and the Syquest id to 6 thinking that this would cure the 
  20. above behavior, but it didn't. Exactly the same thing happens on a boot. 
  21. I've tried various boot priority values for the boot partition on the hd, 
  22. but no change.

  24. This happens both on cold and warm boots.
